Most, like Bride Buddy, offer bespoke ceremonies, especially designed and created around the ideas and wishes of the couple. Some couples opt for additional rituals such as a sand ceremony, hand-fasting, wine or honey additions. But a bespoke ceremony is not all we do. At Bride Buddy we have over 20yrs experience as UK Registrars and 7yrs as independent wedding planners and celebrants in Greece, France and the UK.
As such, inclusive of our fee is all the advice help and guidance you need to fulfil the legalities in the UK for your wedding in France. We are also in touch with some pretty 'hot' wedding planners with amazing reputations and we are more than happy to put you in touch with people we know you can trust.
If you want more freedom over the type of wedding ceremony you have in France, take a look at what Bride Buddy can offer you. We can help you arrange a basic register office marriage in the UK. Advising you on your appointment to 'give notice of marriage' and what documents you will need before you complete the formalities of your legal marriage at the Register Office. This will be followed by the celebrant led wedding ceremony that you want in France.
We are a small team with previous Registrar experience. Professional but good fun too, we will love working with you and getting to know you both. Making sure that your wedding or renewal of vows contains all the elements that you want it to, written exclusively for you both, and conducted by our warm and friendly, highly experienced English celebrant.
So what's Included? Everything. No hidden extra's or expenses. There is no extra fee for a weekend or Bank Holiday, summer or winter, night or day. (although we hope you are not looking for a 2a.m. wedding as we Bride Buddies enjoy our beauty sleep!) If you add the £50 fee for the formal marriage at the Register Office, we still offer a more affordable alternative.
This inclusive fee includes a dressed ceremony table, a glass of fizz for you both to toast, a commemorative certificate, signed by yourselves and your witnesses and of course a personal ceremony designed around your thoughts and wishes. We will create a personal bespoke ceremony for you both, consulting you about wedding vows, promises and readings. We can include any elements you want, from hand fasting to wine, honey or sand rituals that will add colour to your special day. Having the experience and knowledge, and from listening to hundreds of couples over the years, we offer you a true alternative to help you achieve the ceremony that you want, however you want and where ever you want. A truly bespoke personal service that is only limited by your imagination. As a couple you are totally unique so why not your ceremony too? Talk to us about the many special ways you can share your day and make it one everyone will remember! Included in the price too is our help and guidance seeing you through the formal marriage bits at your local Register Office.
On the day, we will arrive in good time. We check with the venue on things such as ceremony music, seating, bride's entrance and so much more to ensure your ceremony runs smoothly. We can also provide our own blue tooth speaker for music in more rural venues. Your celebrant will also make sure the bridal party know exactly what they are doing and where they are going. Checking in with the Best Man and Witnesses and any guests performing readings. We will organise the guests to their seats, and of course, before the ceremony starts, we will come and see you both, separately or together to ease your nerves and run through any last minute queries.
